Hlessi is an experimental electronic music project that began in 2017 as an offshoot of my adolescent love of EDM. As a prior student of Ivo Ivanov, CEO and founder of Glitchmachines, I discovered experimental genres and techniques including modular synthesis, fundamentals of sound design and sound theory, and field recording techniques. 

Influenced by IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) artists Woulg, Rob Clouth, and Max Cooper, Hlessi features experimental sound design, Foley recordings, sampled hardware synthesizers, and micro editing. My goal in this project is to convey human experience through experimental sound in accessible compositions.
